It wasn't supposed to rain today, and I still haven't bought fenders. So now I'm very wet again. This weekend, I'm definitely getting fenders. Really.

Zefal fenders (which seem to be everywhere) are made of coated metal with tidy wire stays and I HATE them because once they fall apart they're impossible to jerry-rig. I very much like the cheapo black plastic ones. They come off easily when you need to take your bike apart, they're dayum hard to rip in half, they're easy to adjust and cheap to replace.
Plus they babysit children and make pie.
